This wonderful jester photograph on each card is from my fine art portfolio. I shot it one year during the Mardi Gras Day parade of REX. I usually work the more significant and traditional parades whether for my own artwork or for commissioned work. 

The famous King's Jesters float is always a delight to carnival-goers with its whimsical jester heads and beautiful Mardi Gras colors. In fact, the Krewe of REX in New Orleans is also the organization who adopted the three colors that we all now take for granted and know so well for Mardi Gras time ... purple, green and gold. This float is also a big tradition among the signature floats of the krewe.
